I have a *new* sewing machine

Well it is new to me!

It is a Husqvarna Viking selectronic 6570 and dates from around the 1970's. I went against a friends advice and bought it from ebay for the grand price of £62! (I paid for a courier but the guy came and delivered it himself so it wouldn't get damaged) It needs a service but does work.

It came with all the original accessories which includes the user manual, lots of fancy presser feet and 8 different stitch cams which gives me a choice of 32 different fancy stitches!

It is going to take me a while to get the hang of it, there are so many things you can change on it!

Mary,

Congratulations!! That is a fabulous machine. My mother-in-law bought that new in 1972. I think she paid $750. What a steal you got!! Let me know how it works for you. I may have to have hers (my MIL) when she is done with it.

Hi! I just recently recieved my mother's sewing machine, same model as yours. Its a long story why I just now got it after she has been deceased for 23 years now but I am so proud to have it now. I just have no idea how to use it and do not have the manual. I wonder if I could get a copy of yours. Please consider...and thank you!
